The "Myers" Real Estate Tradition

The "Myers" Real Estate Tradition began over fifty-six years ago when Keeton’s father, Clanton Myers, started bringing buyers and sellers together in Kingsville, Kleberg County, Texas with a handshake agreement. His specialty was Farm & Ranch Properties and he was very successful. During this time the Texas Real Estate Commission was formed and began issuing licenses. He requested his license and continued successfully selling real estate for many years.

Keeton has a Master Degree from Texas A & I University (currently known as Texas A & M – Kingsville) in Agricultural Education. His graduate work included numerous courses in Wildlife Management. Keeton was raised in a ranching environment. Born in the Rio Grande Valley he grew up around livestock and wildlife. He harvested his first deer, a nine-point buck, on The King Ranch while accompanied by his father, his oldest brother, and a King Ranch employee. He has lived on and/or worked on ranches from forty acres to 38,000 acres and from Hildago County in the Rio Grande Valley to Stephens County, Texas. Keeton and his wife Betty currently have a fair-sized parcel about two miles south of the Stephens/Young County line and just north of the community of Crystal Falls. They currently operate the ranch as a livestock/family recreational ranch. Keeton has worked in the Real Estate Industry for almost thirty years and has been a Texas Real Estate Broker for over twenty-seven years. His ability to accurately place a market value on a property, market the property, and follow through with a sale has earned great repute for himself and Myers Real Estate.

Betty Myers began working in the office over twenty years ago as a full-time salesperson and office manager. She operates Myers Rental Management which is a very affordable rental management convenience to the home investors of Stephens County. Her management activities include rental agreements, collection, deposit, maintenance, report preparation, and keeping the landlords informed. Landlords have often said they sometimes forget that they have rental property between receiving the monthly checks because they don’t have to worry about the properties.

On February 19, 1998 Myers Real Estate went online. Since that date http://www.myersrealestate.com has received over 100,000 unique hits generating sales from Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Argentina, Tennessee, some Ft. Worth suburbs, and even Breckenridge, Texas to name a few.
